Destined
to attend the Inauguration and the Inaugural ball through a Youth Leadership Organization, Deja Nell came up with a unique
fundraising idea to pay for her tuition. She created a cookbook just for kids!
"Kids in the Kitchen" features 150 fun and creative recipes and sells for $15.00.
Deja's goal is to save one copy to present to Malia and Sasha Obama "to cook a meal with them in the White House
kitchen!"
Deja's efforts
were highlighted in an article in her local paper, The
Potomac News and most recently, on News Channel 8!
